Avant Garden Centre Cafe Shop
Hi I seem to be too busy to add much to my own blog- especially as April has been tied up with Embroiderers Guild Stuff- However I have now added some of my own pieces of work in the Cafe/shop at Avant Garden Centre, Leyland.
Hopefully I will make some sales as I have hired the space for three months.
Below are the photos taken just after setting up.

Craft Fair Bilsborrow Village Hall
Hi its a long time since I blogged - I have been busy with Embroiderers Guild matters and doing some of my own work. Photos later!
I did however manage to run a craft stall in Bilsborrow Village Hall last weekend.
The weather was kind to us, however we still did not seem to attract the public, and my sales were reasonable on the Saturday, but very poor on the Sunday- in fact i spent more than I sold.
The idea was that people come into view the art exhibition, in which I had 3 pieces of textile art, and then look around the stalls.
However I met some lovely people, talked a lot, ate a lot and made some good contacts.
Below are some photos of my stall & goodies for sale-
Lets hope I have better luck at the next event???

Alcohol Ink workshop Shevington Library
Well pretty poor show- its ages since I last blogged under my own pages-
However I ran a very good workshop today on Alcohol Inks at Shevington Library & Art Gallery. 12 students attended and most of them were from an Art Group- very daunting!!
However they were a lovely group of ladies who were willing to experiment & go wild!
I think some were so impressed that they wanted to further this technique and incorporate it into their art work.
I took plenty of photos as below- Ladies at work!!
Examples of their work using yupo paper, foam board, metal, wood, tissue paper, tiles etc etc There are some stunning and unexpected pieces.

Bay Horse Craft Fair
Well I'm ashamed to see that I have not posted anything since September. In my defence I have been extremely busy as North West Chair for the Embroiderers Guild- drowning in paperwork!!!
Anyway after two failed craft fairs- one by flood and the other by being given the wrong date, I have managed to run a stall at a fairly successful craft fair at The Bay Horse in Adlington.
Despite having the rements of a cold, and the Bay Horse Barn being freezing, I managed to do pretty well.
